THREADS REIMAGINED

SPRING ‘25 Edition

NYFW: THREADS REIMAGINED:

Community. Craft. Clothing as Care.

In Feb. 2025, SAS Project brought radical joy and queer fashion to the national stage at New York Fashion Week. Centering trans, nonbinary, disabled, BIPOC, and system-impacted models, designers, and stylists, the show reframed fashion as a tool for survival, storytelling, and sustainability.

Affirming, Not Fast Fashion

Every look was created through upcycled, donated, or reclaimed materials. No sweatshop labor, no corporate gatekeeping. Just resourceful, affirming, ethical design powered by our communit.

This was a challenge to think critically about the impression we make in the world and the imprint we leave behind.
