Elk and Snake Dinner

The last night of the SAS event will be time for comradeship among all warrior guests at the American Legion, Post 14 in Bozeman. The Legion will be providing dinner that includes Elk Spaghetti and Rattlesnake Chili.

While the brave ones try out the buzz-worm stew, there will be a talk on, "Rattlesnake Awareness & Management," by Roger Siemens, Snake Wrangler and Retired Forest Service Wildlife Specialist. 

Also speaking, is Dr. Greg Moore, MD practicing in family practice and emergency medicine from Dillon, Montana.  Dr. Moore lectures around the country about recognition of snakes, their behavior, first aid and treatment.

Gregory J Moore, MD FACEP

In addition to a fulltime emergency medicine practice, Dr. Moore is very active in Wilderness Medicine and teaches courses all over the United States, Costa Rica and Peru. He is currently the Chief of Staff, Barrett Hospital. Dr. Moore has a special interest in educating people about snake awareness and snake bite emergency care.
