More About This SAS Event:

Each year, ONF brings 50 or more injured Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans from around the country to experience a program in Bozeman, Big Sky and Yellowstone with outdoor recreation, extreme sports, education, mentorship and opportunities to help them rehabilitate and overcome obstacles.  As warriors discover new passions through SAS programs, it can help them rehabilitate physically, heal invisible wounds and integrate them back to their civilian world.

ONF chose Montana to host their program from because it is one of the nation’s most desirable destinations for its serenity through wilderness resources, vast outdoor recreational opportunities and extreme sports challenges.

Nearly 48,000 Veterans have been wounded in Iraq or Afghanistan.  There’s a new battlefield on the home front. Too many injured Veterans have lost hope and have fallen into patterns of addictions, crime, broken marriages and even suicide.  You can help warriors with physical injuries, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and traumatic brain injury (TBI) by supporting ONF with this next SAS Project.

Through adaptive sports-based activities, adventure-based education, hunting & fishing opportunities, comradeship, invisible wound support, entertainment and nature's serenity ... Attending just one SAS event helps injured Veterans and their families start a path to more trust, self sufficiency, and  mental/physical/emotional health.

WeNeedYou.jpgAny donation amount helps!  ONF is a 501(c)3 non-profit and 100% volunteer organization with no paid administration to help give more to our warriors.

More About ONF:

The developer and host of the SAS Project is ONF who is not new to developing awareness for our Veterans after 7 years of national campaign work mostly in airports and on highway billboards.  See more about ONF!

The first SAS event kicked-off with ONF's Spokesman, Lee Greenwood at Big Sky Resort with a banquet January 7th, 2011.  The week-long WINTER SAS event brought snow/ice sports and adventure, along with hunting and fishing clinics and trips to win.  See more about Winter SAS 2011!
